About Us
Travelers Palm has been welcoming discerning travelers to Key West for nearly two decades. The attraction of a quiet, secluded setting only blocks from the heart of our beautiful island town remains irresistable.
The present owners, Roxanne Fleszar and Michel Appellis, met on the Travelers Palm property in 1996 and purchased it in 2000. They manage the property personally.
Michel & Roxanne enjoy island life be it boating, snorkeling, gardening, or strolling the streets of historic Old Town. They also enjoy our many theater productions, art walks and visiting the botanical gardens. Michel is active on several not-for-profit boards and Roxanne is a member of the Key West Women's Club.
The newly renovated Travelers Palm is an eco-friendly operation with solar hot water for the pool and in the guest quarters. Irrigation is supplied with rainwater collected in a cistern. The three all-new cottages are tastefully decorated with designer furniture and fine art to reflect the epitome of relaxed island living.
Our renovation recently won an award and Certificate of Excellence from the Historic Florida Keys Foundation.
